First of all watch this video. I’m relatively sure that most of the people ending up on this page think they don’t have the time to watch the entire video seeing as it’s roughly one hour long, but you might want to overclock your attention span this time seeing as there are people paying a truckload of money to learn what this guy has to say in this video for free. I bet it’s a lot more productive than whatever you were about to do anyway.

Now Gabe , the presenter, pretty much nailed the subject and did a great job explaining everything,  so there’s no point in me doing the same thing

I am however going to say that if you were wondering if you were going to witness a black swan during your lifetime, well this is it, it’s already started to shift the way you think by making spending your money fun. The reason I mentioned the black swan is because it’s gonna be very interesting to see what will happen when this is going to become a second nature to us, to the point where you can’t picture a shop without a loyalty program.

There are two possibilities I can think of right now, first one people getting bored by the lack of diversity and going retro with their shopping, which would be IMHO about as plausible as going back to letters once you’ve tried email and the second which I find much more interesting, it’s going to turn into a industry.

And by the way, in case you were wondering, yes, this gave me the idea for the blog name.
